Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

einnow ("we", "us") is operated by RingLabs. This policy explains what we collect when you use einnow to file an SS-4 and receive an EIN, and how we handle it.

What we collect

  • Account data — when you sign in with GitHub, we receive your GitHub user ID, username, name, email, and avatar.
  • Filing data — the SS-4 PDF you upload and details you enter (entity name, responsible party), plus fax metadata (status, timestamps) and the IRS response we receive on your behalf.
  • Payment data — handled entirely by our third-party payment processor. We never see or store your card details; we receive only the payment status.

How we use it

To transmit your SS-4 to the IRS by fax, track the filing, deliver the IRS response back to you, take payment for the response download, and operate and secure the service.

Shared fax number

All einnow users file using a single shared return fax number (+1 606-222-1097). IRS responses arrive on this number and we route each to the matching filing. We take care to deliver your response only to you, but you should treat the EIN confirmation as sensitive and verify it is yours.

Service providers

We share data only with the third-party processors necessary to operate the service — in the categories of fax transmission, payment processing, cloud hosting and storage, and authentication. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and confidentiality obligations and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your data. A current list of subprocessors is available on request via ringlabs.dev.

Retention

We retain filings and responses while your account is active. You can delete a filing at any time, which removes its stored document. Contact us to delete your account.
